About the role:

Are you passionate about waste minimisation and management, and looking for a new challenge?

In this role you will lead the operational functions of waste management and resource recovery services, responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellence in service and contract delivery, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This role is perfect for a proactive leader with a passion for safety, team engagement and driving change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Development: Inspire and lead a diverse team, promoting a culture that reflects Outlook’s Values of “Achieve it Together”, “Better Every day”, “Be Authentic” and “Own your Actions”, balancing empathy, dignity and respect in your daily work.

• Operational Excellence: Manage site operations to achieve organisational goals and performance targets. Implement policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.

• Change Management: Lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective adoption of new processes.

• Work, Health, Safety: Promote a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring adherence to WHS policies, procedures and legislation, fostering a culture of physical and psychological wellbeing.

• Financial & Resource Management: Accountable for budget management, monitor financial performance, and ensure the effective and efficient use of resources and assets.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with corporate stakeholders and partners, participate in contract management meetings and audit proceedings ensuring Outlook Australia meet it’s KPI’s. Identify and address areas for collaboration and problem solving.

• Customer Focus: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Proven experience in managing and leading a diverse workforce in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrates a proactive, collaborative and adaptive leadership style that motivates and develop teams to achieve results

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with a wide range of individuals.

• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with a talent for prioritising and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficient in data gathering, analysis, and reporting with strong analytical skills.

• Skilled in using computer-based tools, including the MS Office Suite

Desirable:

• Experience in retail and/or logistics industry

• Experience in waste management
