As an Employment Consultant your role will be to help job seekers become work ready and find suitable and sustainable employment. Outlook delivers Employment Services Programs from 3 sites based within the Monash Employment Services Area. We assist people with disabilities and people experiencing barriers to employment to secure meaningful, long-term employment, through Commonwealth funded programs and NDIS funded programs. Together we create and facilitate sustainable opportunities for people with a disability to live, work and play within our community.

Am I suited to being an Employment Consultant with Outlook?

We find people with experience in delivering great customer service such as retail, call centre operators, hospitality, consulting, business development, and administration are well suited to this role. Your effective people and communication skills, confidence to engage and build relationships, problem solving, and innovation are the foundations of success in this position. We provide training and support to ensure you turn your existing skills into a new career in Employment Services.

• Source employment opportunities for your job seekers

• Helping job seekers identify their skills, abilities and secure employment

• Delivering ongoing outstanding customer service to job seekers and employers

• Increasing job seekers’ capacity for employment through training and other support services

• Building relationships with local employers and community organisations

To be considered, you will have...

• Eligibility to work in Australia

• A current driver’s licence 

• Willing to complete a Criminal History Check

• Able to pass a NDIS Workers screening check

• Able to pass a Working with Children Check

• Willing to complete a Pre-employment Medical Check
