About You and the Role

This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to join our Strategy & Finance team and contribute to the future growth of the Organisation. We’re looking for someone who is a critical thinker and able to provide insight, along with financial and analytical vigour, and commercial acumen to support the organisation in decision making and contribute to organisational success.


In this role you can expect to be involved in various projects such as tender submissions, Merger and Acquisition analysis, Due Diligence, business case development, systems implementation and developing and presenting financial models to assist the organisation with future investments.


Reporting to the Executive General Manager Stategy and Finance, you will lead the Finance operations team, which includes accountability and responsibility for accounts payable and receivable, capital expenditure and related financial controls operating effectively and within financial statutory requirements. You will work closely with the Executive Team as well as the broader Management team across the organisation.


We’re looking for someone who brings their collaborative style of leadership, who can work at high level and ‘in the detail’ and is energised by a busy and rewarding environment. You’re a great communicator, passionate about how you contribute to our organisations goal and most importantly you act with integrity and transparency in the work that you do.


You will bring with you to the role your years of experience in a financial controller role or similar and be CA/CPA qualified. Your experience will reflect your commercial business acumen in financial management.
