About the Role


The role of practice coach is integral to the delivery of Outlook’s innovative and leading-edge community-based programs.

 

The Practice Coach is responsible for coaching, training and mentoring Disability Support Workers, ensuring that our customers receive the best quality services they require, in a safe environment and in line with NDIS legislation.

 

This position involves the provision of supports to adults with a range of disabilities with personal care and complex needs and will involve manual handling, working independently and across a variety of community settings and various Outlook sites.

 

About you


To be successful in this position you will need:

  • Relevant qualification (desirable)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, and demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and train a diverse team

  • To be flexible, reliable and dependable and willing to participate in the development of leading-edge programs and service delivery tions.

  • A customer and outcomes-focused approach

  • Proficient in computer operation and software systems (eg. MS Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Confident at decision making, critical thinking and problem solving with ability to use judgement to achieve a solution.

 

Mandatory requirements:

  • Previous experience in the Community, Disability or Aged Care sectors

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification

  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Current Police Check

  • Current Working with Children’s Check
