Service Description
PROVIDE AN EMERGENCY FIRST AID RESPONSE IN AN EDUCATION AND CARE SETTING (HLTAID012) For educators, support staff and carers working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylaxis. A Unique Student Identification Number (USI) is required, please visit www.usi.gov.au Some homework is required prior to class. Saturday 25 November 9.30am - 3.00pm Cost: $175 Please contact the Centre to book if you are in a voluntary role in the Cardinia Shire where this course will assist you in your role. Cardinia Shire Volunteer Subsidy my apply. All participants will need the ability to meet the physical demands of providing first aid. Participants will also need oral communication skills to make an accurate verbal report to emergency services as well as the written communication skills needed for completion of a First Aid Incident Report. Cancellation Policy
If the Centre cancels a class because minimum numbers are not met, students will be advised in advance wherever possible and all fees will be refunded. If you withdraw from a class more than 7 days before the advertised commencement date, a refund less an administration charge of $15 will be made. No refund will be given if you withdraw from a class less than 7 days before the advertised course start date.
