With a slightly different twist, our 2022 event will showcase a range of our local community services, each setting up a table with ample information of the terrific resources available to residents.

The Orange Door is a free service for adults, children and young people who are experiencing or have experienced family violence and families who need extra support with the care of children.
The Orange Door welcomes everyone, regardless of migration status. You can seek help or support if you are a migrant or a refugee or do not have permanent residency.

Pets of the Homeless Australia provides food, veterinary care and other support to the pets of people experiencing or facing homelessness, many of whom are homeless as a result of situations of family violence. They believe in keeping pets and humans together through difficult times.
Donations accepted on the day:

collars, leads and bowls that are clean and in good condition.

Pet jackets and jumpers that are clean and in good condition,

Portable pet drink bottles and pet beds that are clean and in good repair (but not elevated beds).

Wayss Housing Support Services work with people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, and people who have experienced family violence, to access safe, secure and affordable housing.
Wayss provides services across the Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia.

After experiencing her own trauma, Angel became passionate about helping others in need and as a result opened the Purton Place Pre-loved Op Shop in 2018. Since that time, Angel and her team have been working tirelessly to change the lives of those struggling in the community for the better.
The shop also serves as a half-way home for victims of domestic violence, and the staff are constantly going above and beyond to do whatever they can to help those in need in the community.

Trudi’s Angels is a small friendship group of women and men whose purpose is to collect personal &sanitary products for a charity called Share the Dignity.
This charity provides an amazing service for the most vulnerable woman and girls in Australia by tackling period poverty.
