I wish to advise that the Outlook Board has, regretfully, accepted the resignation of Sam Sondhi Chief Executive Officer of Outlook, with effect from 23 June 2023.
Outlook would like to sincerely thank Sam for his significant contribution to the organisation and recognise his achievements during his tenure as CEO since 2016.
Under Sam’s leadership the organisation has continued to grow to meet the changing needs of people with disability and create employment opportunities for priority job seekers, in a way that reflects Outlook Values; meets Outlook’s 2021-24 Strategic objectives; and our Purpose of creating and facilitating sustainable opportunities for people with a disability to live, work and play within our communities.
Sam’s significant achievements include:
A change in the legal structure of Outlook to become a company limited by guarantee. This change supported delivery of our Strategic Plan, enabling us to move from a State based company, in Victoria, to a national company operating in Victoria, NSW and Qld.
Significant growth and expansion in our Social Enterprise in Victoria and Queensland, through new waste management contracts; an Infrastructure Waste Services portfolio, with tier one and two construction and infrastructure partners; and acquisition.
Expansion of our Disability and Employment Services through acquisition of a homecare service provider in NSW and the win of a Jobs Victoria contract.
Continuation of delivery of critical services during the extended period of lockdowns experienced during COVID.
Amplification of the voice of our customers through a new Customer Advisory Group.
Increase in Management and IT systems to support the current and future operational efficiency of the organisation.
The Board is proud of what Outlook has achieved under the leadership and guidance of Sam. Sam leaves Outlook as a respected organisation both within and beyond the not-for-profit sector, and in a strong position for future growth and sustainability.
The Outlook Board is overseeing a smooth leadership transition within the organisation, with the imminent appointment of an experienced interim CEO and commencement of an executive recruitment campaign.
