Who Are We?
An Inclusive Society for All
Outlook Australia is a registered Australian charity dedicated to empowering individuals facing significant employment barriers, including people with disability and those experiencing other forms of social disadvantage. Founded in 1970, our organisation has grown to support communities in more than 20 locations across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. We are a collection of people driven by the belief that everyone deserves the chance to engage meaningfully in society and the workforce.
Outlook’s dual approach, combining direct social services with innovative social enterprise, enables us to achieve a sustainable model of inclusion where people living with disability or disadvantage can find a place to thrive professionally and personally.
Outlook represents what is possible when social service provision is seamlessly integrated with social enterprise. Our approach is not only about addressing immediate social needs but also about building a framework for sustainable, long-term social impact. As we look to the future, we remain committed to our vision of an inclusive society for all, where every individual can contribute to and benefit from their community.
We are passionate about lifting the ceiling when it comes to society’s misperceptions about the capabilities of some of our most disadvantaged community members. The more barriers we can remove and the more minds we can change, the better!
