Outlook Partners with RSPCA
Refindit by Outlook (opens in a new tab) in Mackay has launched an exciting new partnership with the local RSPCA (opens in a new tab), bringing together environmental sustainability and community impact in a practical and meaningful way.
Delivered through the Containers for Change initiative, this collaboration introduces a reciprocal model that benefits both organisations and the wider community. Through the partnership, eligible containers can be dropped at Refindit Mackay and will support RSPCA’s fundraising efforts, while recyclable materials will be redirected to Refindit by Outlook for recovery, reuse and resale.
This approach reflects a growing commitment to circular economy practices, where materials are kept in use for as long as possible. By working together, both organisations are strengthening their ability to reduce landfill, improve resource recovery and deliver positive social outcomes.
Craig Wilmott, Outlook’s Contract Manager in Mackay, highlighted the importance of working together to drive better environmental results. “Innovative approaches to recycling and material recovery are essential. Partnering with RSPCA demonstrates this, with a strong focus on building a circular economy and aiding landfill diversion.”
For RSPCA, the partnership also supports a more sustainable funding model. Recycling and fundraising go hand-in-hand, creating new opportunities to support animal welfare while contributing to environmental goals.
This collaboration marks the beginning of a broader relationship, with both organisations committed to exploring further opportunities to work together.
At its core, it is about creating shared value. By combining expertise and resources, Refindit by Outlook and RSPCA are delivering double the impact for the environment, local communities and animal welfare.
