NDIS SLES School Leaver Supports in Melbourne’s Southeast
Leaving school is a big step. Outlook Australia’s NDIS School Leaver Employment Supports, also known as SLES, help you people with disability build confidence, independence and practical work skills as they move from school into adult life.
Our supports are designed around each participant’s goals, interests and strengths. We help young people explore work, build everyday skills, try new experiences and develop pathways towards employment, volunteering, further learning or community participation.
What is SLES?
Support for young people leaving school
Our NDIS SLES and school leaver supports may suit young people who are finishing school, have recently left school, or are thinking about their next steps. This support can help participants who want to build work readiness, explore employment interests, learn practical skills and grow their confidence in the community.
Participants may be looking for support to understand what kind of work they enjoy, practise workplace routines, improve communication, build travel confidence, try work experience or develop the skills needed for future employment.

Real-world work experience through Outlook
Outlook Australia is a social enterprise (opens in a new tab) as well as an NDIS registered provider. This means participants may have the opportunity to build skills in real-world environments with support from experienced staff.
Depending on goals, interests and availability, participants may have opportunities to explore practical work skills through Outlook’s social enterprise settings, including resource recovery, retail, customer service, workplace communication, teamwork and other hands-on learning experiences.
