Important Update: Transition of Disability Employment Support Services

Dear Customers and New Enquiries,

 

We want to inform you that Outlook Australia will transition away from providing Disability Employment Support (DES) services as of 12/07/2024. This decision, made after thorough consideration, aligns with our commitment to better outcomes for our customers and the strategic direction of Outlook as we look towards 2030.

Better Outcomes for our Community

At Outlook, across all divisions and services we aim to create positive outcomes for our customers, leading to sustainable social impact for the wider community. We have initiated the process of encouraging our customers to transfer to atWork Australia, a national provider whose values and services align closely with ours. This transition will enable enhanced service delivery and increased opportunities for growth and success for our customers. By moving to a national provider, customers can benefit from broader networks and extensive collective experience, ensuring better outcomes for our Casey and Cardinia based customers, empowering them to achieve their professional goals with confidence and dignity.

 

Strategic Planning – Our Journey to 2030

Outlook has undertaken a significant project to redefine our strategic direction. After extensive consultation and reflection, it became clear that directly providing DES services only in Casey & Cardina was not the best way forward for aligning with our strategic goals, particularly in terms of geographical growth. Transitioning away from DES services will allow us to focus more intently on our Community and Social Enterprise divisions, working together to facilitate work opportunities for people with disabilities and/or experiencing disadvantage within our expanding social enterprise network across the east coast of Australia and beyond.

For current customers, please contact our team for assistance in transferring to a new provider. We have partnered with atWork Australia to facilitate this transition smoothly. Additionally, you have the option to choose another provider that best suits your needs. For new enquiries, we recommend contacting the National Customer Service Line (NCSL) at 1800 805 260 to find alternative DES providers in your area.
