Senior Leadership Day
September 2024
We had a fantastic one-day leadership workshop on Tuesday 29 September 2024, with senior leaders from across Australia.
During the session, we reviewed all major projects and aligned them with the goals in our strategic plan. We also discussed accountability, what it means for us as a senior leadership team and agreed to create a visual charter to support this.
Callum Ross, Executive General Manager for Social Enterprise led an engaging session on customer experience where we explored what a customer experience model could look like for the different groups Outlook supports across Australia.
We refreshed our understanding of team members’ responsibilities before, during and after meetings, linking these back to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) terms of reference. Travis Van Den Berg, Executive General Manager for Community and Quality facilitated a workshop that helped connect our procedures and policies to the work we are doing across Australia. We also brainstormed ideas for the inaugural Operational Leadership Team (OLT) meeting to be held in November.
We looked at Outlook’s financial performance so far this year and enjoyed a sneak peek of our new website. Throughout the day, we participated in team-building activities, including a human knot challenge, speed networking, blindfold communication challenges and creating an accountability spiders web.
Finally, we celebrated Faye Lougheed as the winner of our SLT LinkedIn competition, with her successfully posting content from her LinkedIn account at least three times a week with regular tagging of the Outlook Australia page. Rachel and Lori were also recognised for winning the individual post and comment awards.
