Outlook Australia is proud to announce that it has successfully retendered for Livingstone Shire Council’s Resource Recovery and Transfer Station Services Contract in Central Queensland, continuing its partnership with Council to deliver essential resource recovery services for the Livingstone Shire community.

The renewed contract includes the Yeppoon Transfer Station (opens in a new tab) and the much-loved Refindit by Outlook reuse shop, along with five other sites across the region. Through these services, Outlook will continue supporting practical circular economy outcomes by helping reusable goods find a second life and keeping valuable materials out of landfill.

Outlook already operates the Yeppoon landfill on behalf of Livingstone Shire Council and will continue to do so, allowing ongoing improved and more streamlined operations across the site. This integrated approach will support stronger coordination, operational efficiency and customer experience for the local community.

The new contract, with finalisation expected in the coming weeks, will commence on 1 August 2026 for an initial three-year term, with three optional one-year extensions available at Council’s discretion. Outlook Australia Chief Executive Officer Daniel Findley said the successful tender outcome reflected Outlook’s strong service delivery, community focus and commitment to creating environmental and social impact.

“We are delighted to continue working with Livingstone Shire Council and the local community to deliver resource recovery services that are reliable, welcoming and focused on better outcomes. Through our transfer station and landfill operations, as well as Refindit by Outlook, we are proud to support reuse, recycling and circular economy objectives while creating inclusive employment opportunities.”
